Foundation Repair Photo Album: Basement waterproofing in, Nepean, ON

Our customer in Ottawa-Nepean has issues and concerns with their foundation wall and cracks that had formed. We installed Carbon Armor to help reinforce and stabilize foundation walls, preventing further cracking or bowing.  How carbon armor works: Crack preparation : a cracked area is cleaned and prepared by grinding a channel for the carbon fiber straps.  Epoxy applicatioopn : a specialized trwo part epozy is applied to the prepared concerete surface and the carbon fiber straps Strap Instalalton: The carbon fiber straps are embedded into the epoxy and pressed firmly agaionstly the wall. Reinforcement : The epoxy cures, creating a strong bond between the carbon fiber and the concrete, reinforicing the wall.  Optional Armor Lock: For bowing walls, the armor lock systems can be used in conjunction with carbon armor to anchor the top of the wall to the rim joist, prevbenting further inward movement.
