We had a customer in the city of Ottawa who needed our help with some water intrusion into their basement. We applied a Flexispan to the area of concern to help prevent further water intrusion. Flexispan is a patented, multi-layered basement wall crack repair system that offers a flexible. long-term solution for water intrusion. Unlike rigid epoxy injections that fail as the foundation's wall moves. It works by first injecting a flexible polyurethane sealant into the crack, then applying a foam strip that acts as a secondary drainage channe,l directing any future seepage invisibly down the wall into the drainage system, ensuring a dry basement and finished look.
Our crew completed a project in Ottawa for a homeowner who was concerned about the levels of radon in their home. After an assessment of the home, we designed and installed a custom radon mitigation system to safely and effectively redirect gas from beneath the foundation and vent it outside the home.
To address the homeowner's comfort, we also installed a radon muffler to reduce operational noise and the low hum often associated with the mitigation fans. To ensure long-term durability, a fan moisture guard was added to protect the system from condensation and moisture-related wear, helping extend the life of the fan and maintain consistent performance. We also sealed up any cracks that can allow the radon gas to enter the home. Sealing cracks and gaps helps keep the radon from coming in.
The result is a quieter, more efficient radon mitigation system that lowered radon levels, improved air quality, and gave the homeowner peace of mind knowing their home is safer and healthier.

A homeowner in Ottawa had some concerns with their crawlspace and some sagging due to lost floor support. Our crew encapsulated the crawlspace and added supplemental beams and smart jacks to help stabilize the floors above and prevent sagging.
Cleanspace vapor barriers are an amazing reinforced liner system used to encapsulate crawlspaces and basements, acting as a durable, bright white barrier against moisture, outside air, pests, and mold, creating a healthier, cleaner, and more energy efficient foundation environment. It's installed on floors and walls, often with other components like drainage matting, turning damp, musty areas into sealed, usable spaces. Strong Key features with CleanSpace are:
- Durable and strong. 20mm thick liner designed to resist punctures, tears, and wear.
- Moisture control. It helps block out water and humidity from the ground and walls, preventing rot and mold.
- Improves air quality. Keeps out musty odors and humidity from the ground and walls, preventing rot and mold.
- Anti-Mold. Contains an ultra-fresh additive to prevent mold growth.
- Passive radon mitigation. It can serve as a passive system to reduce radon entry.
- Integrated system. Works well with other products like drainage mats and vent covers for complete encapsulation.
Installing a supplemental beam is an added structural support, often steel, placed under a main beam in a crawlspace or basements to fix sagging floors, reduce bounce, and reinforce failing supports, using adjustable jacks like smart jacks to lift and stabilize the structure for long term stability and to prevent further damage. Key features of supplemental beams and smart jacks:
- Fix Sagging floors. It addresses uneven or bouncy floors caused by failing main beams, preventing floor joists from deflecting.
- Adds strength. It increases the load bearing capacity of a comprised floor system, handling heavier items like appliances or safes.
- Stabilizes structure. Provides lasting support, often lifting the main beam back to its original level.
- Support weak beams, reinforce beams that can't handle current or increased loads, preventing cracks and potential collapse.
The customer is happy and now has peace of mind with their crawlspace, and their floors above it have been stabilized.

A homeowner reached out to us after noticing signs of foundation settlement around their property. Uneven floors, cracks, and shifting exterior areas had become increasingly concerning, and they wanted a permanent solution that would restore stability and protect their home for the long term.
After a full inspection, our team confirmed that the sections of the foundation were settling due to unstable soil conditions. To halt the movement and lift the structure back to its proper position, helical piers were the best and most reliable option.
Our production crew completed a full stabilization system that included:
- Helical pier installation to transfer the weight of the home to strong, load-bearing soils deep below the surface,
- Pier Excavation to properly expose the foundation and ensure accurate placement of each pier.
- Shoring the excavated area to maintain safety and structural integrity while our team worked around the exposed foundation.
- Concrete removal and replacement per pier to allow secured access for installation and restore the area cleanly once each pier is in place

We have a customer in Ottawa who needed our help to insulate their crawl space. We used SilverGlo Panels and Cleanspace. The benefits of SilverGlo panels are a rigid foam board insulation product that combines graphite infused with polystyrene with a reflective, radiant barrier surface for better energy efficiency. The graphite improves its insulating ability, while the radiant barrier reflects heat, making it effective for insulating crawlspaces, basements, and attics. These panels also help create a waterproof vapor barrier, preventing moisture infiltration. Clean space is a strong, reinforced plastic liner used in crawlspaces and basements to block moisture, prevent mold, and create a cleaner, healthier environment. It is installed on walls and floors to prevent ground moisture from rising, efficiently manages leaks, and is designed to be resistant to tears and punctures. Cleanspace can improve the air quality in the space where it is installed by keeping out humidity and odors from coming into the living area.

The Foundation Guys were called in to waterproof the exterior walls at Bluesfest Festival House and school of music. The Rub-R-Wall membrane and Geo-Wrap drainage system was the top choice for the project. They had water in the basement of the building and did not want it to happen again. They decided to go with a high end waterproofing membrane with a life time warranty. They chose to rubberize the foundation. Now they have enjoyed a dry basement where the children can learn in a healthy environment in the Bluesfest School of Music.
