Foundation Parging & Window Well Drainage - Ottawa, Ontario
Challenge
A homeowner in Ottawa wanted to upgrade and redo the parging on their foundation to improve the condition and appearance of the foundation exterior. They also wanted to improve the drainage connection around an existing window well. Before recommending a solution, our system design specialist carefully inspected the foundation for visible cracks and other signs that could indicate foundation failure.
During the assessment, no visible signs of foundation failure were identified. With the Foundation condition assessed, the homeowner was able to move forward with updating the exterior parging while also addressing the drainage around the window well.

Our crews completed the foundation parging, providing the exterior with a refreshed and updated finish.
As part of the project, the existing window well was also tied into the exterior weeping tile system. This connection provides water around the window well with a pathway into the home's drainage system, helping improve water management in this area.
With the project complete, the homeowner now has a freshly updated foundation parging along with an improved drainage connection at the window well.
