Basement Waterproofing in Ottawa
Challenge
Our crew recently helped a homeowner in Ottawa, Ontario who was experiencing water concerns in their basement. Moisture was beginning to affect the space, and the homeowner wanted a reliable solution to protect their foundation and keep the basement dry.
Solution
To address the issue, our team installed a waterguard interior drainage system along with a waterguard port, allowing water to be captured along the foundaton and providing easy access for future maintenance. We also installed a triplesafe sump pump liner giving the homeowner a durable and reliable sump basin ready to handle groundwater efficiently.
To further protect the foundation walls, our crew installed a CleanSpace® wall system, creating a moisture barrier that helps keep humidity and water vapor from entering the basement. As part of the project, we also completed cement patching to seal and reinforce areas of the foundation wall that needed attention.
With these improvements in place, the basement is now better protected, cleaner, and prepared to handle water intrusion, giving the homeowner greater confidence and peace of mind.
