Basement waterproofing System Installation
Challenge
A homeowner contacted our team after experiencing water intrusion and ongoing moisture issues in their basement. During heavy rain, water was entering at the foundation level, creating concerns about long-term damage, damp conditions, and the overall health of the space.
After a full inspection, we determined that groundwater was entering along the footing and foundation walls and that the home needed a reliable drainage and sump system to properly redirect water away from the basement.
Solution
Our crew installed a WaterGuard subfloor drainage system to capture water at the foundation level before it could reach the basement floor. A waterguard port was added to allow for easy access and future maintenance of the drainage system.
To manage wall moisture, we installed a cleanspace wall system, creating a durable vapor barrier that directs any moisture behind the walls into the drainage system. Water collected by the system is discharged through a Zoeller M98 sump pump, known for its reliability and high performance.
On the exterior discharge line, we installed an IceGuard to ensure the system continues to operate safely during winter conditions by preventing frozen discharge lines and water backups.
The completed system now effectively controls water, protects the foundation, and keeps the basement dry year-round. The homeowner has the peace of mind of knowing their basement is safeguarded by a dependable, professionally installed waterproofing solution.
